II Traversa Olivo is a bathing area in the Gulf of La Spezia comprising beaches and piers within the Seno dell'Olivo inlet, located between Molo Royale and Punta del Frate. The beach is composed of gravel and pebbles. The bathing water has been classified as excellent from 2008 to 2011.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008-2011). No coastal wastewater treatment plants, sewage treatment systems, or Imhoff tanks are present in the area. The Ligurian Sea is not characterised by cyanobacterial blooms due to oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strain proliferation have occurred in the past four years.
