Isola Palmaria Pozzale is a rocky coastal bathing area located on the southeastern part of Palmaria Island in the Gulf of La Spezia. The coastline features a rocky shore with pebbly and gravelly beach. The area extends between Capo dell'Isola and Punta della Mariella, with several minor stream mouths present. Water quality is classified as excellent based on monitoring data from 2008–2011.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008–2011). No coastal wastewater treatment plants, sewage lines, or septic systems are present in the area. The Ligurian Sea is not characterised by cyanobacterial blooms due to predominantly oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strain proliferation have been recorded.
