Lungomare Nazioni is a private sandy beach in front of the urban center of Sanremo, characterized by small inlets delimited by artificial structures arranged both parallel and perpendicular to the shore. The beach is located in the Liguria region on the Italian Riviera, with the Riviera dei Fiori cycle path, state road SS1, railway line, and parking available inland. The area features private beach establishments with services, dining activities, and accommodation structures.

Location

Sanremo, Imperia province, Liguria region, Italy. The beach is situated along the seafront opposite the urban center. Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2021–2024: SCARSO (Poor). Intensified monitoring frequency is applied for the 2025 season due to the poor classification. A sewage pipe located approximately 150 meters to the east of the monitoring point discharges offshore. Pollution sources include port-related contamination from Sanremo's tourist marina located approximately 1 km to the east.

During upstream criticality and weather precipitation, increased flow rates of streams may transport waste downstream. Rio S.Romolo mouth discharges directly into the bathing water. Microalgae proliferation of Ostreopsis ovata has occurred in the region over the past decade; this species can cause temporary and reversible respiratory irritation and fever in sensitive individuals through aerosol inhalation.
