Nordstranden is a bathing beach located on the east side of Kerteminde, a town of 5,712 inhabitants on the Great Belt strait in Denmark. The beach is approximately 1,000 metres long, ranging from 30 metres wide at its northern end to 130 metres at the southern end. It consists of fine sand with scattered small stones, and the seabed is also fine sand. The beach has been classified as excellent water quality based on routine sampling of faecal indicator bacteria over the preceding four bathing seasons.
