Sydstranden is a bathing beach located in the southern part of Kerteminde, a town on the Great Belt strait in Denmark. The beach consists of fine sand with scattered small stones and measures between 25 and 50 metres wide and 600 metres long. The seabed offshore is similarly composed of fine sand with scattered stones. Water depth increases gradually, reaching approximately 2 metres at 125 metres from the shore.
