Ponente Rupinaro is a bathing beach in Chiavari, Liguria, characterised by coarse-grained sand and pebbles situated to the west of the Rupinaro stream mouth and facing the town of Chiavari. The beach extends over an area of 0.782 square kilometres. Water quality has been classified as good for the period 2011-2014. The Ligurian Sea in this area is not characterised by cyanobacterial blooms due to predominantly oligotrophic conditions, and there have been no cases of potentially toxic algal strain proliferation.
