Marina dei Bardi is a predominantly pebble beach located in Zoagli, Liguria, surrounded by rocky coastline and artificial structures. The beach is situated near the mouth of the Fossato Chessi stream. It is classified as excellent water quality based on 2008-2011 monitoring data. The beach area extends 1.48 square kilometres.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as excellent (2008-2011). No coastal wastewater treatment plants, sea outfalls, or Imhoff tanks are present in the area. No specific monitoring measures are currently active.

Risks

River mouth discharges identified as a pollution source. Cyanobacterial blooms are not characteristic of the Ligurian Sea due to oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal species proliferation have been recorded in the past four years.
