Location

Stibjerg Strand is located in Slagelse Municipality, Denmark. Access is via Tårnborgvej, with parking available at the corner of the summer house area. A path leads from the parking area to the beach.

Water Quality

Water quality is classified as excellent based on data from 2012-2017. Monitoring conducted 6 times per year. Small risk of short-term fecal contamination during extreme rainfall due to infiltration systems in the summer house area. Risk of blue-green algae blooms is assessed as low. Occasional occurrences of glass shards, litter, and chemical contamination including oil spills have been reported.
