A fine sandy beach with quartz-feldspar and calcareous-siliceous composition located in Mondolfo along the Adriatic coast. The beach has a gentle average slope of 3% and is protected by artificial rocky outcrops. The average distance from low to high water mark is 80 metres, with an astronomical tide range of 30–50 centimetres. The surrounding area consists of urban settlements with a railway line passing nearby.
