Via Torino is a bathing zone in Sestri Levante on the Ligurian coast. The beach is predominantly sandy and is surrounded by numerous urban settlements and tourist infrastructure including beach establishments, restaurants, shops, hotels, and a seafront promenade with a cycling path. The water body is classified as coastal with mountainous relief and low stability. The area has been classified as excellent for bathing water quality during the 2008-2011 monitoring period.

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008-2011). No coastal treatment plants, discharge pipes, or Imhoff tanks are present in the area. No specific monitoring measures are currently activated. The Ligurian Sea is not characterized by cyanobacterial blooms due to oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strain proliferation have been recorded in the past 4 years.
